Left Section of Heart
|Blood comes to the left side of the heart from the lungs.|
|Blood fills the left atrium.|
|From the left atrium, blood falls through a valve (mitral) into the left ventricle.|
|The mitral valve closes, and the aortic valve opens.|
|Blood is pumped from the left ventricle through the aortic valve to the lower and upper body.|
