Here's an update from the Quattrocchi's:

Hello everyone from the Langmuir days! Carla Quattrocchi (Grant) here.  Being the only one in the family with a computer, it is my job to provide the update.  It's been over 25 years since our family left the neighborhood and a  lot has happened since then.

My sister Christy still lives in Tujunga in the Shadow Hills area.  She is a nurse, has been married to a wonderful man for 30 some-odd years and has five grown children, seven grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way.
After selling the Langmuir house, Pat and Muggs lived in a mobile home park in Sylmar for about five years. They are now living in Paradise California (in the hills above the Sacramento Valley).  It's beautiful there and they are very happy. My dad's health is failing some, but my mom is strong and still young at heart.

My sister Marianne lives near me in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.  She is a hairdresser and a single mom. She has two grown children, one grandchild and another on the way.  Check out the memory page for her story.

I was the first to move here 19 years ago.  I have been happily married to a great guy and we have a good life here.  My husband Greg owns a cabinet business and I have followed my sister Christy's footsteps into nursing and most recently nursing education.  Greg and I have four children (three are his from a previous marriage) and two grandchildren. We live on a 17-acre ranch and have several horses and big barn (every Idaho man's dream).  Check out the memory page for mine as well.

For awhile mom and dad had house here on the lake, as well as their home in Paradise.  Those were good years and reminded me of the Langmuir days.  Their house was the place to be.  The door was always open and everyone enjoyed the lake and the boat and, of course, the good company.  Keeping up both houses eventually became a physical as well as a financial strain for them and they retired permanently to Paradise.  Our children were fortunate to have had those good years at the lake house with their grandparents.

We are all excited about the web page and look forward to hearing from more neighbors. Please feel free to e-mail me, or my family members through me, at any time.  We would love to hear from you.
