Most of today was
spent driving from Paris to Geneva. In the afternoon, we visited a few places in
Geneva we remembered from our previous visit. In this picture, Sara coaxes birds to
pick food directly from her hand. |

There is a very nice
furniture store in the old center of town. We have a tradition, whenever in Geneva,
of checking the price of this table. Linda discovered it 4 years ago. It was
too expensive then, and, of course, continues to be. |

Here's the best toy
store in Geneva. No matter what else we see, it seems to be the high point for
Michael to find and explore the local toy stores. |
|
In the past, we've
discovered the best value for ice cream to be the local Movenpick. This will
definitely be a place we need to visit a few times before we leave Geneva. |

Restaurants are
unbelievably expensive here. Dinner for four at something the equivalent of a U.S.
Denny's is $80. Fine dining three times that. Fast food combo meals are
$8. This is a picture of the local Wendy's. Guess where we eat. |

Here's a more
traditional tourist picture from Geneva . . . the water fountain in the lake that
shoots a jet of water 455 feet into the air, at a rate of 130 gallons per second. |
