	This is one of many souvenir shops we have been visiting. Jeremy and I agree that this behavior is related to the X chromosome.
	This is the "Grand Canyon" of Hawaii - the Waimea canyon, 10 miles long and 3657' deep.
	Jeremy got a little too close to the edge of canyon, but he said we shouldn't worry - risks like this are nothing compared to living in California.

	A mother and her chicks. These wild chickens are all over the island.
	A monk seal has decided to use Poipu Beach as a birthing ground for it's baby seal. We stopped for a visit and talked to the local authorities that guard the seals from local tourists. Click on the picture to get more information from their website.
